Directions From the West: Take LIE 495 to exit 71 (Calverton). Turn left (going north) and continue to 2nd traffic light (Sound Ave.) Turn right (going east). Continue about 40 minutes to Greenport. Look for the sign to Shelter Island Ferry. Follow signs to ferry. Once on Shelter Island, drive up the hill to the small town (Shelter Island Heights). Continue straight through the Heights and bear left at the fork (by the firehouse) onto New York Avenue. Make a right at the stop sign. Go up the hill and take the second left, Stearns Point Road.
